As many people know, the internet is a very vast space and it can be extremely hard to find exactly what you are looking for on it. As a Chicago Bears fan, I am always trying to stay up to date with the Bears and connect with other to discuss the previous Sunday's game or talk about the next upcoming one. Therein lies why I decided to create a website called Windy City Blitz, where Chicago Bears fans can come and be connected in a singular location and discuss many different Bear’s related issues. The site also delivers the typical fan experience needed to gain a true understanding of the Chicago Bear culture. This done through a series of articles about the organization, growing trends within the organization, apparel and merchandize needed to look and feel like a Bears fan and a connection to this blog that keep fans up to date with everything that is Chicago Bears. The design of the website is founded around the great city of Chicago, or as many locals know it, the Windy City. I tried to keep the design very simple and drawn to the idea that the Chicago Bears and the city of Chicago go hand in hand. One of the main areas that I am trying to draw attention to is the forum board, where Bears fans can come and discuss the team. I feel like uniting a fan base, such as the Chicago Bears, is a hard thing to do and offering a space designed specificity for that is one step closer to join the fans together. The website will constantly be trying to evolve and keep up to date with what the fans and followers are suggesting, so please direct your comments and questions as posted on the site. So if you are looking for a way to stay connected with the Bears, while staying connected with other fans, please visit Windy City Blitz.
